the music
ellusion is a music group with a core of five members. They often use guest artists based on the venue. The core instruments are: Lead Vocals, Electric/Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keys and Drums/Percussion. Guest instruments often include: Sax, Latin Percussion, Violin, etc.
This Terre Haute, IN based group offers a wide variety of music that spans the spectrum from Rock, Blues & Reggae to Funk & Latin. They cover many of your favorite artists while adding a bit of their own style to each artist that they cover. When listening to their originals, one might find it challenging to sit still. Their music is moving to say the least.
You will find these guys playing all over the region in cities such as Indianapolis, St.Louis, Louisville, Bloomington and naturally, Terre Haute as well as several smaller cities in the area.

Tom Kelly-Lead Vocals/Harmonica
Tom has sung with several groups and in many different styles. Soulful is an understatement with this guy. He takes vocals to a new level.
Jeremy Bates-Lead Electric/Acoustic Guitar/Vocals
Jeremy has a gift for playing music. Having played for 16 years, his solos are among the best and always a pleasure to hear. Jeremy plays a variety of guitars that include: Fender Stratocaster, PRS, Fender Telocaster and an acoustic Takamine to name a few.
Archie Smith (Tiny Davis)-Keys
If your partial to sounds of a Hammond B3, he will not let you down. He uses a wide variety of patches giving this band the ability to deliver music from most artists and genres.
Matt Elkins-Bass Guitar
A true pro, Matt has played all over the US and abroad. He has traveled playing on the cruise ships, played in large cities and even in different countries. Solid is an understatement for this player. His funky, yet smooth bass lines add to the foundation of this band.
Steve Ellis-Drums/Percussion
Funky Playing since age five, funky is the one word that best describes Steve. He has played in several bands all over the US in groups that range from Big Band Swing to Funk, Rock and Blues. Steve has opened for a few major groups and played with some large recording artists. Steve has also done studio work for albums that are now one the market. His gear includes: Yamaha Maple Custom 6 piece kit, Tama Bubinga 7 piece kit, Yamaha Maple Custom 5 piece jazz kit and Zildjian cymbals
